When you set up your domain with a host they should assign you from one
(1) to
unlimited email accounts, username@yourdomain.com.
When choosing a host check how many email addresses you get with
your package, when you get started you may not see the need for many but
as the companies grows so will your need for email addresses.
Make sure you find out in advance how much those extra email addresses
cost, with some companies 5 extra email addresses can cost more than
your monthly hosting fee!
All our hosting packages include a
minimum of 20 POP3 email accounts with plenty of other features.
Our new Mail Manager will allow for new mail accounts to be added with
IMAP Protocol, in addition to POP. Perfect for today's mobile
businesspeople, IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) allows for mail to
be accessed by various mail clients in various locations. Please note that
you cannot use both POP and IMAP at the same time. You will need to enable
one or the other when setting up a new mail account. For more information

Email Aliasing/Catch All Email:
With email aliasing someone can send an email to anything@yourdomain.com
and it will automatically be forwarded to your main email address.
This saves missing emails with the user name spelt wrong.
You simply set a default email address and any email sent to a user name
not already set up will automatically be forwarded to the default
address.
Email
Forwarding:
Having a variety of email addresses can be confusing, email
forwarding allows you to forward your emails to a single email address:
Smaller companies who offer a support@yourdomain.com,
sales@yourdomain.com, webmaster@yourdomain.com,
(etc...) can choose to have these all forward to a single email address
for easier maintenance:
(i.e. yourname@yourdomain.com or yourname@yourisp.com).
All of our hosting packages offer this option at no extra cost.
Please note this feature is only
available to our hosting customers.
Autoresponders:
Autoresponders are a great marketing tool, not all hosting companies
offer them but as your site gets busier you'll need to start automating
certain tasks. Autoresponder are great for allowing you to follow up
instantly on email inquiries.
We are pleased to offer an autoresponder on each and every email
account we offer. With unlimited autoresponder use you can make
following up with customers a snap!
Catch
All Email:
Be sure to set your catch all email address, that way even if
someone mistypes your user name the email will still arrive (provided
they get the domain name part right!).
